Weather in Mallorca
If you’re visiting Mallorca in May-September (or even at the end of April or the beginning of October), expect Mediterranean island temperatures of lows raging between 15°C (59°F) and 22°C (71.6°F), highs of 23°C-33°C (73.4°F-91.4°F), and 12-13 hours of daylight.
Take into consideration that several mornings throughout each month can be cloudy and even a bit rainy, so as weird as it may sound, don’t forget to bring an umbrella.
Note that in the summer months (July-August), Mallorca is not only very hot but can also be overcrowded.

What to Wear in Mallorca
I love the Spaniards’ effortless style, so I like to try and blend in with the locals, yet when I traveled to Mallorca I felt like most of the people around me were tourists, so blending in was not much of an option.
That’s why I think you should pack clothes that you’re comfortable in yet make you feel stylish (since chances are it’s going to be hot and humid, but you still want to look cute on your Mediterranean island trip).

My Favorite Travel-Themed Necklaces
If you love traveling with themed jewelry and you’re looking for a unique way to preserve your travel memories, consider getting yourself an engraved-ring necklace by Vagabond Life. All you have to do is choose one of their chains and add rings with the names of places you visited (continents, countries, cities, national parks, etc.).
This brand also has other designs for travel addicts, including a world map, compass, and mountain necklace or bracelet, which you can check out here.
Made of stainless steel and shipped in eco-friendly packaging, their jewelry has a simple, clean look, which I personally adore.

Mallorca Packing List
Here’s everything you need for days of traveling across the island, discovering the beauty of Mallorca, for your time on the beach, and for the evenings.

What to Pack for Mallorca for Day Time
– 1-2 short sleeve blouses.
– One t-shirt: I always love to have a simple, comfy t-shirt (I have this one in four colors).
– 1-2 tank tops: On hot summer days, I love wearing loose-fitting tank tops.
– 1-2 pairs of shorts: Pack breathable, comfy, stylish shorts (that are not too short), similar in style to these.
– One pair of lightweight paper bag pants: I have a pair I bought from Mango a few years back, similar to these pants (the khaki ones), which look great with both sneakers and sandals.
– 1-2 light dresses: I highly recommend packing one mini-dress and one midi-dress (flowy and made from lightweight material).
– One lightweight cardigan or a light denim jacket: For those cloudy and chillier mornings.
– Sandals: Comfortable yet stylish sandals are great for exploring the island.

What to Pack for Mallorca for the Beach
– Beach blanket: This is what I use when I’m going to the beach at home and what I’ve seen most of the people in Mallorca use. You can bring a small towel in addition to the blanket.
– Beach bag (similar in style to this one).
– Hat: I prefer neutral-color bucket hats, but you can definitely pack a straw hat.
– Sunglasses.
– 1-2 swimsuits and a coverup.
– Flip flops/beach sandals: I’m obsessed with my Havaianas sandals, which are perfect for the beach (though I wear them daily because they’re seriously comfortable). Plus, access to some beaches requires some walking, so flip-flops are not always ideal.
If you’re traveling with kids, here’s a useful family beach packing list.

What to Pack for Mallorca for the Evenings
It’s fun to dress up when you go out to dinner and drinks, so depending on what you like to wear, pack beautiful fitted dresses, elegant pants & tops, or even playsuits.
In addition, bring low-heel sandals, and don’t forget to pack a jacket or a mid-weight cardigan as it can be a bit chilly.

General Essentials
This women’s Mallorca packing list would not be complete with all the items you need for every single trip.
– Reusable water bottle: After trying quite a few, my favorite is Corkcicle’s canteen, which keeps my water cool all day long.
– Sneakers (or other comfy shoes): For the flight and for wandering through the city of Palma de Mallorca. My favorites are these Nike sneakers, though I also have a pair of Adidas Stan Smith.
– Toiletries – body care & skincare: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, face wash, moisturizer, sunscreen (super important), and deodorant (I just started using NUUD).
*I usually travel with carry-on luggage, so for all the liquids, I use refillable travel-size bottles (similar to these ones).

– Dental care: Toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.
– A hairbrush, hair ties, q-tips, tweezers, and nail file. In homage to Mallorca’s stunning coastline, you could also try one of these blue nail designs before your trip.
– Feminine hygiene products.
– Makeup: Some days can be very humid, so bring a lightweight foundation.
– Medications.
– Glasses.

– Underwear.
– Bralettes.
– A short PJ set.
– Jewelry.
– Crossbody bag/small backpack.
– Electronics: Phone (obviously), camera, chargers, travel adapter if you need one (Spain uses plugs types C and F, and operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz), and headphones.
– Travel documents and money: Passport + copies, plane ticket, travel insurance info, accommodation info, emergency contacts, itinerary, driving licenses (local and international) wallet, cash, and credit cards.
– Travel journal and a pen: Must-have items for those who love to document their trips the old-fashioned way!
